PS/DC 16M Multi Memory Card

About the PS/DC Multi Memory Card?

This product is a Dreamcast and Playstation compatible 16M memory card. The save function of this card is exactly the same of "NEXUS 16M" save card. The only different is this card does not have the PC Link port to transmit/download Save Data via PC.

What is the function of button side 
by the PS/DC Multi Memory Card?

The button side by the card is a Save page selector. It is same as the NEXUS 4M/16M Save Cards. The Digital LEDs indicated the Save page you are currently using. (The page digit is from 0-9 and A-F, total 16 pages, the default settings are 0-7 and 8-F for DC & PS respectively)

Why Digital LEDs displays the light flashing "I I" symbol?

The light flashing "I I" symbol displays, it means the current page save data or format is not suitable for the console (PS/DC) that you are using. Players can press the Save page selecting button to change a empty page or a page that suitable for your current console

How to change the Save page format?

The default settings are 0-7 and 8-F for DC & PS respectively. Customers are able to change the default setting according to their own needs. The procedures as followed:

  • Plug in the PS/DC Multi Memory Card into the suitable console (please refer the above information), select the page with the Save Page Selecting button that you want to format
  • Power off the console then take out the PS/DC Multi Memory Card
  •  Power on the console, press & hold the Save Page Selecting button, then plug it into the memory card slot of the console.
  • The “O" "osymbol will be flashed on the PS/DC Multi Memory Card LEDs
  • About 5 seconds later , save page format progress was being started. The selected page can be used as the completion of the page format.

Why Digital LEDs displays the light 
flashing “E” symbol?

If the above happens, it means the card in ERROR status, it may be caused by:

  • Bad contact between the PS/DC Multi Memory Card and joypad memory card slot, please take out and plug-in again into the joypad memory card slot.
  •  Improper use to damage the save page, you can use the “Save Card Reset procedures”  to maintain the save pages

What is the “Save Card Reset procedures” ?

When you are changing the save page or reading from save page/saving the data to the save page, PS/DC Multi Memory Card is taken out from joypad memory card slot or POWER OFF the console will damage the save pages. Under this situation, users can use the “Save Card Reset procedures” to maintain the save pages. But bear in mind, you will lose all your data in the save card upon the proceeding of the “Save Card Reset procedures”

 “Save Card Reset procedures” as followed:

  1. Plug in the joypad into the DC console then POWER ON
  2. Press & hold the Save Page Selecting button, then plug it into the memory card slot of the joypad.
  3. At this meantime, PS/DC Multi Memory Card LED will flash for about 10 seconds, the LED light flash stop then release the Save Page Selecting Button.
  4. Please use the DC console to format (Delete All) the PS/DC Multi Memory Card. The “Save Card Reset procedures” is now completed, this card can be used as normal again.
